, the leading beverage distributor in Eastern North Carolina is looking for an INVENTORY SPECIALIST.
If you are a service driven professional looking for a solid career with a growing company, then we invite you to join our CREW! As an INVENTORY SPECIALIST, you will be responsible for safely conducting inventory counts and reconciling inventory variances.

DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1.
Conduct inventory counts required for beer, NA, kegs, dunnage, code dates, and repack room.
2.
Reconcile inventory variances by recounting product or items reflecting a gain or loss.
3.
Collaborate with Operations Managers, Warehouse Managers, and Inventory staff to investigate variances and discrepancies.
4.
Achieve CBC monthly inventory count and inventory shrink goals.
5.
Ensure damage, returned, and swapped product is properly segregated and accounted for a on a daily basis.
6.
Comply with CBC inventory control guidelines.
7.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
1.

Possess education equivalent to a high school diploma, plus three to six months of similar or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3.
Possess the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Possess the ability to write simple correspondence.
4.
Possess the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
5.
Possess basic mathematic skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Possess the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
6.
Possess basic reasoning skills including ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Possess the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
7.
Possess basic computer skills requiring knowledge of word processing software, e-mail software, spreadsheet software, inventory software, and Internet.
